Blackout

This weekend was spent unintentionally exploring my new hood. I did some happy hour on Friday (all walking distance), ended up at the Roosevelt to see the ever so awesome Classixx spin…..Saturday we (aka Christian) did some DIY ing by making a rack for our room using pipes and ended the day with a few friends over. Sunday was spend laying around at the beach and then coming back and gogo ing a Greek party at Premiere Supper Club. It was amazing, watching everyone do traditional Greek dances and hearing authentic Greek music, I just closed my eyes and pretended I was in Greece. It also brought me back to the days I would spend at the Greek festival with my grandma learning all the dances (I’m half Greek if you didn’t know). Monday, the bf and I walked to brunch, had bottomless mimosas and continued on to the Standard to watch our friend Dan spin. I’ve been having so much fun walking EVERYWHERE and if not driving for no longer than 15 minutes.

Now, on to this outfit. A while back the bf wanted to put together a photoshoot that he would style and art direct. His vision was me in the middle of the dessert in an all black outfit. This isn’t exactly that….but close enough. He styled me which I wasn’t mad at and we hiked down to a wash near my mom’s place. I was really stoked on how these photos turned out and we have a few digital ones as well (we used the film Rebel for these pups).
