DIY Bandeau Top

Posted on June 19th, 2012 by admin

I’m not sure if this is considered DIY but I sure did it myself so I think it is. This is the easiest DIY you will ever do (right up my ally) and it’s perfect for the Summer. I have 3 easy steps for you to create a fun, interchangeable top for every occasion.

Step 1: Find a long, preferably on the skinny side sash/scarf. I found this one at Ross for about $5…they have a great selection and are usually great prices. Goodwill is also a great place to look

Step 2: You can either wear a bathing suit under this sash/scarf or if the sash/scarf isn’t see through just wear it by itself. I chose to show you with this bathing suit top I got from Target. Wrap the scarf around your bust so that the ends are at the front.

Step 3: Tie the scarf in a bow. It can’t get much easier than this ladies and gentleman. The longer the scarf the better as the bow will be bigger (if you’re into that).

I give you, your new bandeau top! It’s fun, Summery and most importantly EASY! Enjoy.
