Fall Cooking

Last week’s weather (not the 90 degrees we are experiencing this whole week) makes me want to cook. I stayed in all weekend and cooked away and one of my favorite foods is soup. I love cold or hot soup, there’s just something so comforting about it. Here are the soups I can’t wait to make this Fall.

-Pumpkin Soup with Cran Apple Relish-I make this every year for Thanksgiving and it is a hit

-Lentil Soup-I grew up on this so it’s somewhat of a staple in my household.

-Avgolemono soup / Greek Meatballs- Being a prideful Greek and all, my Avgolemono soup recipe is a little different, I’ll post it up when I make it. The greek meatballs are in the same base as the Avgolemono soup but with veggies and the meatballs of course. I prefer turkey for mine.

-Greek Pork Stew- This stew is hearty and healthy with green beans, carrots, pork and spinach in a tomato base. I’ll post this one when I make it as well.
