I hooked my girls UP!

Above is what the bridal suite looked like the night before the big day, all ready for my ladies to come in and be surprised. Check out what it’s like to be the bridesmaid of a blogger, after the jump.

The Next Morning…

My girl’s swag bags were LIT AF.

I always want to share my blogging world with my friends whenever I can so gifting them as if they were bloggers themselves was the perfect way for me to treat my closest friends, and say thanks, on the day of my wedding. I reached out to some of my favorite brands and PR friends to see how they can help and I am so overwhelmed by the generosity and support I received from everyone I reached out to. I am so proud of these bags and I couldn’t have done it without everyone’s help.

When I gave the girls their gift bags they were excited and then once they actually opened them they were taken aback. There was so much in this bag it was so rad and they were all excited about every single item in there. Here’s what the girls got….

1. Printed photos of us by Chatbooks. These are the perfect size for a small frame and such a great gift. They really loved this one. 2. A box of Pre-Heels (this product is EPIC). PreHeels is a spray that creates a barrier between your skin and shoes which means no more blisters. It dries in seconds and washes off with soap and water. This was the perfect gift for a day where they would be in heels for a while. 3. Pur-Lisse Blue Lotus + White Tea Treatment Sheet Masks (not shown – post coming soon) and Blue Lotus Balancing Moisturizer. I love this brand because it’s free of parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, synthetic color/fragrance and animal cruelty and who doesn’t want sheet masks and moisturisers? A perfect way to treat themselves after a big day of being a bridesmaid.  4. Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Cleansing Oil. This particular product was A HIT. Everyone loves Kiehl’s and were so excited to be able to get product from them. This is a lightweight cleansing oil that removes oil and impurities and of course, it smells amazing. Again, treat-yo-self.  5. Joico Hair Shake Liquid to Powder finalising Texturizer and Joico Heat Set Blowout Perfecting Creme.  I love these two products because they’re great for styling whether you want a textured look or a beautiful blow out, my girls have the option to do both when they get back to the regular routine!  5. Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar  – a re-energizing moisture mask and Philosophy Take a Deep Breath – color cushion for cheeks. A nice mask after all the makeup and sweat the girl’s skin will endure at the wedding and a beautiful cheek color to brighten up their face the day after. 6. Tangle Teezer Brush. One of my girls already has one (from another gift bag of mine haha) and SWEARS by it so I was so happy to be able to give these to all of the girls. It’s a great on-the-go brush and detangles EVERYTHING, especially after those updos. 7. Valley High Zipper Pencil Skirt and Reusable bag. I chose these skirts because it’s my brand and of course I had to give them SOMETHING from there, but also it fit everyone’s style and they could all wear them the next night, whoever stayed the weekend with us (we had a 3-night wedding weekend). 8. Studio Penny Lane Gratitude Apothecary Jar, because I’m so thankful for THEM.  9. “Hello” paperweight from W10est Elm. This is a funny story. I asked for this specific product for Christmas for our apartment and West Elm ended up sending 15 instead of one (for the price of one). I thought I’d share the wealth and what a perfect opportunity to do so.

10. The grand finale…….

VANS SHOES!!!

Vans is my favorite shoe company, always has been always will be because I’m a Cali girl, so when I reached out to my good friend Michelle I was so happy that she was down to provide my ladies with a pair of VANS SHOES (I still can’t get over it). I chose a classic pair of black Lo Pro Authentics because they fit everyone’s style and they matched their outfits on the day of the wedding so they had the option to change into a comfortable pair of shoes once their feet started hurting from their heels. I also figured you can wear these FOREVER and with anything so they really were the perfect gift.  I waited until they were finished opening their gift bag to surprise them with the shoes and they were all so shocked and excited. After the ceremony, they all changed into their Vans and looked so cute in their cocktail dresses and varsity jackets on the dance floor (photos of that coming soon!).

9. Lastly, we celebrated that morning with a Champagne Lovers Giftset box for each of the ladies from Thoughtfully. Each girl got their own box with beautiful Champagne glasses, confetti, party props, coasters and rock candy sticks that they got to take home with them. It was such a great way to add a little fun to the morning.

See? My girls came up and it wouldn’t be possible without all of these amazing companies and their amazing products. I highly recommend all of these products, back them and definitely suggest you give them a whirl.

HUGE shout out to everyone that hooked my ladies up!
