  1. #ABRANDNEWPENELOPE

I’d like to introduce the reason why the posts have been lacking on my blog. I’m so pleased to announce that a vision that I’ve had since the beginning of the year is now a reality and I couldn’t be more happy about it. Penelope’s Vintage has a brand new site and webstore that is […]

  2. Today is consisting of packing, cleaning, listing, and getting my head together for this trip (3 days!). Definitely bringing my new crop top from Mikkat Market, my vintage lace skirt I got from a thrift store, my pea coat, my Urban Outfitters leather backpack, a toggle hoodie from a thrift store and my Chanel sunglasses.  What I’m struggling with: what heels to bring…. I also found out there’s a Top Shop right near our hotel so lord knows I will be there right when we arrive.  Things I need for Europe: – ankle boots like these – J brand Martini Flared jeans I’m on a mission. In other news Happy Cinco De Mayo! I’ll be celebrating with a beer, windows open and fans on full blast while packing (although it’s not as hot as yesterday).

  3. I’ve had my eye on Stone_Cold_Fox for a while now but when I looked at their brand new site yesterday I fell in love a LIIIIIIITTTTLLLEEE bit harder. Their Spring collection is out of control. I find myself needing every piece and I may be willing to sell my body for them. Ok not really…. maybe just put it all on my credit card and deal with the consequences later. Either way…it’s a little bit genius with a dash of amazingness. Check out their new site they just launched yesterday too!  (p.s. THIS IS MY 1000TH POST! YAY! )

  4. I love to see LA based brands making good shit. SO many things are based out of New York, and that’s all fine and dandy but LA is super cultural and inspiring as well and more good quality designs need to come out of here. Which brings me to Les Morceaux. AWESOME jewelry line that carries necklaces, bracelets and wrap bracelets. Simple but just enough. Love.

  5. Micky Mouse + Mac = AWESOME!! They are teaming up to release limited edition colors and other fun items! Here’s the article…. “MAC Cosmetics is teaming up with Disney to create a limited edition color collection, intended to launch globally in late September in all MAC locations. The products will feature four Disney characters, on which the brand is keeping mum at the moment — although with a collection name of Venomous Villains, it is assumed that we’re not talking Donald Duck and Minnie Mouse here. Lipstick, powder, lip gloss and blush shades will be sold, ranging in price from $12 to $29.50.” (WWD)
