If you follow me on Instagram this may be a repeat but if not, BIG NEWS! Over the past 8 months I have been working my butt off with Christian (the bf) to achieve a goal we set for ourselves 7 years ago. I am beyond excited to share with you that we will be launching our very own brand and releasing our first women’s collection for Spring 2015. I will be revealing the new brand in T-minus 10 days for everyone to see and I can’t wait! Thanks to everyone for their encouragement, help, sweet comments and constant support. Join the countdown with me on Instagram!

Screen Printing

If you are just joining me, I’m in the process of starting a women’s clothing brand from the ground up with my graphic designer boyfriend (NBD). We started conceptualizing and designing at the end of last year and are at the tail end of our sampling process right now. I will be revealing more information about it shortly but for now, while we get everything going, I’ve been documenting the BTS just to show what it’s like to go through something like this. It’s been a little hard to fully document things without giving things like the name or designs away so if it’s a little limited I apologize (I promise it will be worth the wait). As of right now, we’ve gone through two rounds of sampling and pretty much have our fits down and just finished screen printing the pieces last Friday. It was so cool to see how the screen printing process is done and we even got to go through every design with the screen printer to make sure placement and colors were correct. Each step feels like a huge accomplishment and is also so exciting for us to be able to be apart of. I have so many more photos but for now here is the process and a few photos. Next up? Line sheet/lookbook shoot! It’s getting so close to being an up and running brand I can’t wait!
