After a morning/afternoon of relaxing we headed out to the Guess? party at around 4pm (it ended at 5….we’re cool like dat). Our friend’s Classixx were DJing and we wanted to hit up a few more parties before the weekend was over. The Guess? party had a photobooth, food, goodies sprinkled around the party for everyone’s taking, open bar and the highlight: The Bumby’s. The Bumby’s consist of 2 performance artists that provide “Fair and Honest Appraisals of Your Appearance”….aka they judge you while you stand in front of them. It sounds intimidating but everything is positive and fully entertaining. They can’t hear you as they have headphones on with music blaring and have covers over their face so the assumption is solely on your actions and appearance. Above is mine and it literally tripped me out because for 1, I’ve dressed way crazier and for 2, it’s a trip to think that that is what I emit to people. It was an amazing experience and it was especially meaningful because I got to do it with all of my friends. After we closed out the Guess? party we thought we might as well close out another one so to The Do Over it was! The Do Over is an LA based party (and in a few other cities as well) and one of my favorite ones to attend during the Summer. They play amazing music and is always filled with the dressed to impress. The night ended with a yummy (and much needed) dinner at Birba and then back to the hotel to wind down.

I find it humorous that I started off the day in one outfit and ended up in a completely different look as soon as I got to the BCBG x Benefit event (bummed I didn’t have time to snap a pic of my first outfit).  I wandered into their gifting suite after grabbing a drink and mingling a bit and they welcomed me with open arms. I got to pick out an outfit of my choice, try it on and literally walk out in it, ending up in BCBG from head to toe. It was such a fun experience and I literally felt like Cinderella. It also must have been a trip for my friends to see me in one outfit and emerge in a completely different outfit. So by accident, this is my Coachella day 1 outfit. These pants are supposed to be drop crotch (which I wore in a couple of the photos) but I didn’t want to be “that girl” walking around with her stomach out as no one was REALLY in the pool, so high waisted it was! I’m utterly obsessed with these pants and I plan on wearing them daily. Thanks BCBG and Benefit for the fun time! xo

Unlike my averyage Coachella experience, my first day was mellow and I loved it. We started off checking into the beautiful Skylark hotel, drooling over our Lulu*s goodies and heading out to the Beauty Bungalow event. We tried on clothes, sipped yummy Makers Mark cocktails and took some fun style shots. The residence it was located at was absolutely stunning and it made for an amazing background to a fabulous party. After hanging out for a while we hopped over to The Parker Hotel for a Harper’s Bazaar event. Very chill, very intimate and nonetheless a good time. I was having some fun with our fish-eye lens today…I love the way the photos come out with it. On to day 2! Let’s go!
