A few days ago I attended the Rent the Runway pop-up shop event where instead of renting dresses online you could do it at a one time pop-up shop in Los Angeles. The event was set up at the beautiful Andaz hotel in West Hollywood with a hair and makeup station, candy bar, drinks, and a room full of dresses to try on at your leisure. I tried on this GORGEOUS Elizabeth and James dress that I so desperately wanted to take to Vegas with me as well as some fab little earrings too. After crying about not being able to take the dress with me (it was a little out of my price range but nonetheless a reasonable price), I sipped on a “swexy” (sweet + sexy) cocktail, got some lipstick applied and chatted with Darais (a fellow half Greek) about greek soup and the new line of beautiful lipstick colors from Lancome. I LOVE their new color palettes (shown above).

Better late than never, some photos from the blogger flea market a couple weeks back. I had a great time selling Penelope’s Vintage next to my fellow bloggers. There was an awesome turn out and so many friends came through. Can’t wait for the next one.

I went to the Stella & Dot Spring Preview at Blushington last week to check out all the fun new jewels they have to offer. The Spring line was beautiful with a wide varity and something for everyone. From Jade inspired jewels, to silver layered necklaces, to petit elegant necklaces, Stella & Dot had it all. I got to chat with some of my fave LA bloggers like Hollywood Housewife, Le Fashion Monster , The Style Map, Good Bad and Fab and Live Love LA. As if the jewels weren’t enough to keep you busy, Blushington offered free makeup applications along with champagne in little bottles and the yummiest s’more treats you could imagine. I had a great time and am so happy about my new Stella&Dot gems.

This Sunday I will be participating in a blogger flea market at Space 15Twenty along with 7 other fab bloggers. I’ll be selling items from Penelope’s Vintage and eating Umami Burger, so come say hi! Details above. <3

A few shots from the other night at the Yo Yo Yueng Sping/Summer 2012 collection preview at the Cooper Design Space. The ladies were oh so lovely from Yo Yo, they took us through the whole collection; fabrics, color pallets and all. I also got to see all my bloggy friends which is always nice. We chatted, had some Yo Yo cupcakes and sipped on some wine. My favorite color pallet was the yellow, black and white section which also won me over with huge circular sequins, flowy chiffons and beautiful cocktail wear. Overall they had a strong collection with a lot of variety AND who knew they sell Yo Yo at Kitson? loveit.
