A few weeks ago I went to the Spring 12′ preview for Keds, set in the beautiful Eveleigh in West Hollywood with astroturf, flowers and yummy food. I along with other bloggers got to drool over the new collection of shoes and clothes, got my portrait drawn, and enjoyed wonderful cocktails. The clothing collection was filled with light weight fabrics, unique prints and and all American vibe. I especially loved this two piece set made out of the same fabric that consisted of high waisted shorts and a sleeveless blouse with a white peter pan collar. sigh. One of my favorite things about the shoe collection is they’re bringing back the pointy toe shoe that they had back in the 50s/60s. I had a wonderful time and even got to pick out my own paid of Keds! I had the hardest time narrowing it down to one pair because I literally wanted every single one (story of my life). I ended up choosing a black and white checkered pair. Can’t wait to get them.

(I promise I’m NOT pregnant. Wearing my lazy beanie + white tank from H&M, Boyfriends cardi from Urban Outfitters, leopard leggings from Uniqlo and my Dolcetta ankle boots.)
This post is a little overdue but before heading to Coachella I got the opportunity to go to a ThreadSence styling suit held at Bollare. It was great to meet the rad people behind ThreadSence since I’m definitely a fan, and also fun to play a little dress up with their drool worthy inventory. The room was decorated in everything bright and tropical to help get us excited for the upcoming weekend with music to match. We chatted, tried on some fun outfits and were lucky enough to come home with two items from the store + a Coachella party pack. It was so much fun and I couldn’t be more happy about my goodies. Thanks ThreadSence and Bollare!

On Sunday we woke up at a reasonable hour, packed and checked out of our hotel. We got lunch at Birba again complete with blood organge mimosa’s and bloody marys. After our nice lunch we headed to the Planet Blue x Foam Magazine party at the same hotel, the Alcazar. My one regret from Coachella is not staying at this party longer. I wanted to party hop that day since we just stayed at Rhonda the day before, but we should have stayed put. They had the best margarita’s I’ve ever had courtesy of Peligroso, goodie bags, food, a DIY station for cutting up and studding tie dye shirts and a fabulous pool to lounge by. My favorite part? Of course, the photobooth…I can stay in that thing for hours. I also got to see some beautiful ladies including Kiara, Emily, Kelsi, Bethany, and my friends at Bollare. Now for fun Photobooth pictures!
After relaxing in the pool for a bit, we headed to the Mink Pink party which was impressive but had somewhat of a strange crowd. The car in the pool kinda threw me off too. At that point we decided it was time to head back home as all the parties were coming to an end anyway, but first….MORE PHOTOBOOTH PICTURES! (+ instagram photos)

We stopped for some quick coffee and headed out, laughing the whole ride home reminiscing about the weekend. It was was perfect, the weather cleared up and was beautiful, we ate wonderfully, had a great time at all the parties, no one got sick and we got some rad goodies. Coachella, I love you….until next year.

After Rhonda on Saturday we went back to the hotel room, took a nap, regrouped then ate at a random steak house (not my first choice). We then headed off to the Jeremy Scott x Adidas party at Frank Sinatra’s house which I am still KICKING myself for not bringing the camera to that night (the only place I didn’t take it). Russ really pulled a fast one to get us in and it was pretty epic. The house was lit up with neon lights, had fun beach balls with different faces lining the pool, a huge palm tree LED screen in the background, open bar and appetizers. We saw Kesha walk in, we got to see our favorite rapper right now ASAP Rocky, apparently Snoop Dogg was there and A-trak was playing the most epic set of hip hop in life with Chromeo right by his side. Busy P was wondering around as well as Rony’s Photobooth + Cobrasnake. I felt like I was living in the movie Party Monster mixed in with the movie House Party and was completely ok with it.
(vintage flannel, navajo poncho, Lush blouse, American Apparel pleather leggings, docs, Urban Outfitters floppy hat)
I was super sad because it was really cold that night so my planned outfit did not work, so I ended up going more of a boho route to ensure my warmth (the exactly opposite of what I would normally wear and the exact opposite of what everyone else was wearing). I look really excited but really not excited all at once in this picture and I don’t really know how I accomplished that…..apparently it’s a hidden talent. We got shuttled back to our car around 4am, went home and passed the F out. Day one was a great start to the weekend and we all had a BLAST.
