On Sunday we woke up at a reasonable hour, packed and checked out of our hotel. We got lunch at Birba again complete with blood organge mimosa’s and bloody marys. After our nice lunch we headed to the Planet Blue x Foam Magazine party at the same hotel, the Alcazar. My one regret from Coachella is not staying at this party longer. I wanted to party hop that day since we just stayed at Rhonda the day before, but we should have stayed put. They had the best margarita’s I’ve ever had courtesy of Peligroso, goodie bags, food, a DIY station for cutting up and studding tie dye shirts and a fabulous pool to lounge by. My favorite part? Of course, the photobooth…I can stay in that thing for hours. I also got to see some beautiful ladies including Kiara, Emily, Kelsi, Bethany, and my friends at Bollare. Now for fun Photobooth pictures!

After relaxing in the pool for a bit, we headed to the Mink Pink party which was impressive but had somewhat of a strange crowd. The car in the pool kinda threw me off too. At that point we decided it was time to head back home as all the parties were coming to an end anyway, but first….MORE PHOTOBOOTH PICTURES! (+ instagram photos)

We stopped for some quick coffee and headed out, laughing the whole ride home reminiscing about the weekend. It was was perfect, the weather cleared up and was beautiful, we ate wonderfully, had a great time at all the parties, no one got sick and we got some rad goodies. Coachella, I love you….until next year.

After Rhonda on Saturday we went back to the hotel room, took a nap, regrouped then ate at a random steak house (not my first choice). We then headed off to the Jeremy Scott x Adidas party at Frank Sinatra’s house which I am still KICKING myself for not bringing the camera to that night (the only place I didn’t take it). Russ really pulled a fast one to get us in and it was pretty epic. The house was lit up with neon lights, had fun beach balls with different faces lining the pool, a huge palm tree LED screen in the background, open bar and appetizers. We saw Kesha walk in, we got to see our favorite rapper right now ASAP Rocky, apparently Snoop Dogg was there and A-trak was playing the most epic set of hip hop in life with Chromeo right by his side. Busy P was wondering around as well as Rony’s Photobooth + Cobrasnake. I felt like I was living in the movie Party Monster mixed in with the movie House Party and was completely ok with it.

I was super sad because it was really cold that night so my planned outfit did not work, so I ended up going more of a boho route to ensure my warmth (the exactly opposite of what I would normally wear and the exact opposite of what everyone else was wearing). I look really excited but really not excited all at once in this picture and I don’t really know how I accomplished that…..apparently it’s a hidden talent. We got shuttled back to our car around 4am, went home and passed the F out. Day one was a great start to the weekend and we all had a BLAST.

Ahhhh Coachella. A beautiful escape to an oasis of magical parties and non stop music. It ended up being me, the bf, my good friend Allison and Russ, a small but super fun group. I brought our film camera up with us and took it everywhere.

(photos from our film camera, dinner and messing around in the room)
We spent Friday driving up and going shopping for my store as previously stated. After we did some shopping and checked into our hotel, Shilo Inn (literally went back in time to the 70s), we went out for some dinner and drinks at Birba. Ridiculously good pizza and even better drinks. About 4 drinks in we went to our friends house and mingled until about 3am then called it quits as we had a big day ahead of us.

Now on to the REAL Coachella day 1. Saturday. We woke up, tried to be alive because we had a little too much to drink the night before and headed out to breakfast at Cheekys. Cheeky’s is right next to Birba but serves breakfast and lunch. After our fabulous meal of breakfast quesadilla’s and duck confit cakes we headed to Rhonda at The Saguaro. The Saguaro Hotel was a beautiful, bright hotel with a modern feel. Rhonda was as expected: packed, great music, and great people watching. Russ (who mc’s the party) got us our VIP wristbands and we headed off to a land of open bar and free denim from Siwy. I wore my Bijork buns as planned paired with neon high waisted Bongo shorts and my Target bikini top…..I’ve never felt better.

As everyone is WELL aware (I know, I’m sick of hearing about it too) Coachella starts tomorrow. I’m really excited about it this year because I have a million outfits I want to wear and am also going to do some shopping for my store. It will be a weekend of partying, shopping, sun bathing, and music. I can’t wait. I’ve decided to put in the extra effort and show y’all what I’m bringing, because I’m that excited.
What I’m Bringing

Crop tops, sheer shorts and cover ups, high waisted jean shorts, and bathing suits as tops (I added in a few things from the store after this photo was taken). If my hair isn’t on top of my head I’m wearing these hats for some protection (and coolness) for my face.
What I’m wearing Poolside

My poolside bathing suits will consist of lots of mixing and matching and different prints and colors including Laced in Love top. My chosen sunnies are my Chanel’s, House of Harlow’s and vintage 90s sunnies from PV.
What I’m Walking on

Coachella is an odd one for shoes because you COULD wear wedges but you most likely end up in your feet at the pool parties. I’ve brought both (or way too many in general) in case I feel like getting snazzy. I brought my Jeffery Campbell ballet flatforms because they are the perfect happy medium, although I might just live in my JC studded gladiators all weekend.
My Survival Kit

It’s going to be hot, dry and sweaty this weekend so I am packing accordingly. If I decide to wear my hair down I got some mousse to encourage the waves, if not…ponys, buns and braids it is. I also am a sunscreen nazi so I have some for my face and body. The aloe vera is for that sun burn I will most likely have on my face and I brought my heavy duty moisturizer as well. As far as makeup goes I barely wear any when I’m there but at night I try to apply a little. I’m going with the natural, sun-kissed look so I packed my liquid eye-liner, bronzer, highlighter and mascara. My lips are covered between this chapstick and Stilla lip gloss and to top off my look I have my light, floral smelling Chanel perfume to spritz on before I head out.
(*also packing some coconut water, Gatorade and water)
How I plan to wear my hair

I’m so rocking this Bijork braid situation on Saturday (or something along the lines of)….I’m obsessed with it. Otherwise I’m going to do a side braid or a fun lil pony.

There ya have it folks. My Coachella suit case + plan of attack. See ya on the other side.

Feeling oh so indie with these film shots we just got developed.
