After discovering I have some sort of sinus infection, taking meds every 2 hours, packing, and attempting to get a full nights sleep I was off to New Orleans yesterday. New Orleans is a place I’ve always wanted to visit but have never made a real effort to do so, so I was really excited when Kelsi asked me to come in honor of TwoPointOhLA going national. We’re doing a food tour and also holding panels and a cocktail hour with local NOLA bloggers who I can’t wait to meet.  I’m also using the trip as time to go shopping for my store which I’m also really excited about. We’re staying at the lovely, W Hotel in the French Quarter which is absolutely beautiful with a New Orleans charm and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else for my first experience.  Here are a few snaps of my first day of exploring, tomorrow onto shopping and more eating!

I apologize for the lack of posts this week, I’ve seemed to come down with a horrible (self diagnosed) case of Strep Throat. I have a Dr.’s appointment today so we’ll find out the real results but all I know is I’ve been miserable since Monday night. Anyway, I’m excited to share that I have a guest blog post on Lulu*s blog today! 3 Ways to Wear their Cuts and Bolts top. My friend Kayven is an amazing photographer and always makes our outings that much more fun by bringing out a variety of cameras to capture the moment. For Coachella he brought his Cannon FTB film camera and above are some of the results. We rolled deep to the parties and these photos are of all the homies (well, most), my favorite is a cross between the junk table at top and the double exposure photo at the end.
